What it takes design an extraordinary room

There's more to this quote than fits on the graphic, and I think it's worth sharing.

"The creative adult is the child who survived after the world tried killing them, making them “grown-up”. The creative adult is the child who survived the blandness of schooling, the unhelpful words of bad teachers, and the nay-saying ways of the world.

The creative adult is in essence simply that, a child."

I've designed lots of rooms for lots of clients, and I've noticed that those who get the best results, the extraordinary rooms that really grab you when you walk into them, are brave - the way that kids are brave. They are unapologetic about what they like, they don't pay attention to the unhelpful opinions of others, and they are willing to try crazy (I mean creative) things. And, as an interior designer, I'm right there with them. If I sound like the kind of designergive me a call or drop me a line.

The creative adult is the child who survived
